Bobbie sharing her experience with MetaVisia:
Two years ago my site was just a dream. An idea I put together, but had no
clue how to make it happen. A year ago I spent lots of money on web books and spent money to
sites such as Yahoo and others trying to get my site up on the web. Nothing worked. I never
could get the help I needed and the books where of little help themselves.
The one day
surfing on the web I came across a web site called www.metavisia.com. I checked it out and
e-mailed them to see if they could build my site. I had already e-mailed a few programmers
that I knew locally but they where not able to build the site I wanted. The next day I had a
huge e-mail back that explained everything to me with a price. I was still scared though
because I had to put down a deposit and I did not know this company. Of course I did my
research and it seemed to be a good deal. I sent that first payment off and I have not
looked back since. Every e-mail and question I asked was answered very quickly. All the
e-mails where very detailed and explained everything.
The people at MetaVisia where very
helpful and they cared about me and my site. Another thing I liked is they just don't take
your ideas and go with it. They give you their opinions also. That's because they care.
They have built a ton of sites and they know what works and what can make it better. I
highly recommend them to anyone wanting to take that next step. I didn't have the money to
take chances and I needed someone I could count on. I knew nothing about building a site. I
know how scary it is when you do something and you don't actually meet the people you are
doing business with, but you can count on the team at MetaVisia.
I love my site and I am
very happy. You don't have to be afraid to take that first step. If you have a site that you
have been wanting to start now is your chance.

"When I first got the idea for the site, I spent a couple months writing
my thoughts down on paper and continued to work on it to a point where
I felt I could show it to a web designer. I was recommended to a local
developer and he told me it would be an extremely complicated site to
design and it would cost between $15,000-$20,000, not including
additional monthly charges to host, etc. Needless to say, that wasn't
really an option to dump that kind of money on a random idea I had just
a couple months prior.
I then started surfing the net to see what was out there in terms of
developer, honestly not believing I would find anything. I remember getting
to your site and reading every word on it. After feeling comfortable
with what I saw, and the sites you had built, I requested an estimate.
When you came back with your estimate, I was both excited and hesitant
at the same time.
I had serious reservations about working on a project like this with a
company based in Eastern Europe. How did I know who I was really
dealing with? Were they going to scam me? Were they who they said they
were? When I got your quote, I got a bit excited because it was so much
lower than the last guy I talked to, but it didn't reduce my uncertainty
of going forward. That's when I peppered you with all those questions,
slowly making my decision with every answer I received back.
Needless to say, your prompt and thorough responses to all my questions
quickly put me at ease. Also, your billing style helped too. Being
able to see progress without paying for it all up front was a huge
confidence builder for me, as well as your ever prompt replies to all my
questions. You did some serious hand-holding with me, which is
tremendously appreciated.
I quickly realized I had made the right decision when you not only gave
design advice, but business advice too. Many of the business
suggestions you made were right on and have been incorporated into the
site. Like I told my wife during this whole process, you're much more
than "just a developer," you're more like my silent partner, helping me
make important decisions on the direction this can/should go. I'm sure
I wouldn't have got that type of service from the guy who wanted $20k."
